codedrill is a typing-practice tool for coding interview prep. here is exactly what data it handles and why, in plain language, no legal fog.

> what we collect

when you sign in with google, we receive your name and email address from your google account, along with a unique account id.

as you practice, we store your progress: which problems you have attempted, your best wpm and accuracy, whether a problem is solved, and any custom solutions you choose to save.

we also collect anonymous usage analytics (page views and general interaction data) through firebase analytics. this is not linked to your identity.

> how we use it

your account info and progress do one job: saving your practice data so it persists across sessions and devices, and showing you your own stats. analytics help us understand how codedrill is used so we can make it better.

we do not sell your data. we do not share it with advertisers. we do not use it for anything beyond running codedrill.

> where it lives

codedrill runs on google firebase: authentication, the firestore database, and analytics. your data is stored in firebase under your account, and google processes it as our infrastructure provider under the google privacy policy.

> your control

you can sign out at any time. your saved data stays in your account until you ask us to remove it.

to delete your account and everything tied to it, email festus@kahunla.com and we will remove it.

> changes

if this policy changes, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above.
